Dennis Lui


Before joining HKES, Dennis has been working in leading multinational companies like Philips, Motorola and JOS of Jardine Matheson Group in the capacity of General Manager and Vice President for many years. He has accumulated extensive general management experience in Greater China and Asia Pacific at large.

His executive assignments in Philips and Motorola covered markets in Greater China and other countries like Korea, Japan and South East Asia. As such, he is experienced in leading very sizable business operation comprising of team members of diverse cultural background and nationality.

He also has more than 20 years’ experience of leading business operations in Greater China and is the founder and board member of a Philips joint venture in China in mobile phone manufacturing and sales. He resides in Shanghai in the past 10 years.




His experience covered sales and marketing, strategic planning, operation management, joint venture management and general management of many different technology driven business, especially in the area of telecommunications and information technology. Dennis earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Hong Kong and his MBA Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also sponsored by Motorola to attend International Executive Development Program. Dennis is very active in the local community in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

He is past president of a Rotary Club, a keen classical guitar player and enjoys social tennis and golf. He is also a past Scout Leader and was once very active in the Scout Movement.
